The UNDP Sustainable Communities programme announces a new “Chir-Chir” initiative, which aims to conduct a two-day training course in Ararat region on “Dried Fruit Production, Storage and Processing”.
The training course is designed to develop proper dried fruit production, storage and processing methods among dried fruit-producing farms. This will contribute to creating additional sources of income through the development of professional capacities and the provision of equipment. Only refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh residing in Ararat region and permanent residents of Ararat region are eligible to apply.
After completing the two-day professional training course, all participants will take an examination. Based on the results, they will receive fruit-drying mesh trays, a professional handbook and a certificate of participation.
