In 2025, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Tufenkian Foundation decided to provide solar water heaters to 48 households in the settlement of Svarants, Tatev community, Syunik region. These installations will ensure residents’ permanent access to hot water. Among the 48 houses are 10 newly constructed homes built with the support of the Tufenkian Foundation for refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh.
