The UNDP “Sustainable Communities” programme has officially concluded its Facebook Reels competition, an initiative designed to bring the inspiring stories of its beneficiaries to a broader audience. The competition met with an enthusiastic public response, with the 16 featured videos collectively amassing over 1,200 votes.
Following the public vote, the winners were honored during an official ceremony held at the UN Office. Ekaterina Ivanova, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy, and Arman Valesyan, Lead of the “Sustainable Communities” programme, presented the winners with their honorary certificates.
The Winners

1st Place: Narine Kyureghyan (“Sweet House” project) Narine emerged as the competition’s absolute leader, securing 372 votes. As the top prize, she will receive a pressing machine to enhance her production capabilities.

2nd Place: Hasmik Movsisyan (“Pomegranate” project) Taking second place with 247 votes, Hasmik’s work received significant public acclaim. She will be awarded an autoclave.

3rd Place: The Women of Gomk (“Greenhouse” project) Rounding out the top three with 144 votes, the women of Gomk were recognized for their collaborative efforts. They will receive a hydroponic greenhouse tower as their prize.

Encouragement Prize: Liparit Galstyan (“Sweet Village” project) In recognition of his dedication, the “Sustainable Communities” programme awarded a special encouragement prize to Liparit Galstyan, who will receive 5 beehives.
