During a visit to Vardenis, Gegharkunik Marz Governor Karen Sargsyan, accompanied by the Chief of a Community Aharon Khachatryan, visited the Sotk settlement, where a new modular medical facility was recently installed.

The modular facility was provided to Sotk by the UNDP “Sustainable Communities” programme in collaboration with the RA Gegharkunik Governor’s Office. Governor Sargsyan saw the new facility and urged the head of the Vardenis community to expedite the installation of necessary infrastructure. He also emphasized the importance of addressing legal and administrative issues promptly to ensure the facility becomes operational by this fall.

The new modular medical facility of Sotk covers an area of 42 square meters and will serve 1,475 residents, including 233 children aged 0-18 years.
