Thanks to the UNDP “Sustainable Communities” program, Khndzoresk settlement of the Goris community in the Syunik region now has a new, modern, and comfortable sportsground. This initiative was implemented in cooperation with the Goris municipality. The new sports ground will provide the residents of Khndzoresk with the opportunity to lead a healthy lifestyle and exercise outdoors.

The newly built playground in Khndzoresk is the 15th playground in the Goris community. This achievement means that all the villages within the Goris community now have modern playgrounds. The presence of a playground in each settlement contributes significantly to the improvement of the quality of life in rural communities and aids in the development of children and young people.

The sportsground will also serve as a venue for meetings and active recreation, thereby promoting community life.
