The “HONEY-MONEY” project of the UNDP “Sustainable Communities” program is conducting a two-day training course titled “Professional Development of Beekeepers” for refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh who have settled in the Ararat Marz and are engaged in beekeeping.
After completing the course, all participants will receive certificates and take an exam. Based on the exam results, UNDP will provide a binary hive made of PP material.
Eligibility Criteria:
– Persons aged 18-65 (only one person from each family) who became refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2020 and 2023 and currently live in the Ararat region.
– Individuals who have engaged in beekeeping in the past and/or are currently engaged in beekeeping.
– Those who have a suitable area for beekeeping.
– Participants who commit to installing a beehive within the specified period from the moment of hive provision, with 5 frames in each hive covered with bees.
– Individuals ready to meet the mandatory conditions set by UNDP for running the bee farm.
Ineligible Participants:
– Individuals who are not refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh.
– Refugees who participated in the previous round of the “HONEY-MONEY” project and are already beneficiaries of the project.
Mandatory Documents:
1. An application form, which can be downloaded online by following [this link](https://bit.ly/honey-money-24), or collected in person from the local municipality hall or the residence of the administrative head.
2. Copies of the passport and registration data pages of the passport or identification card.
3. A certificate confirming the place of residence and refugee status, obtainable from the Municipality or the administrative head of your residence.

Print and fill out the application by hand, attaching the required documents. The complete package of documents should be handed over to the trainer on the first day of the course. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Please note that beekeepers who do not fully participate in the two-day course will not be considered by the program.

The course will be held in the meeting hall of the Ararat Marz Governor’s Office (address: Ararat Marz, Artashat, August 23/60) on July 2 and 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
