Within the framework of the UNDP “Support to Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh and Host Communities” project, we invite you to participate in a two-month free Pastry Making and Sewing Training at the French-Armenian Professional Training Center Foundation (CEPFA). The goal of the training is to support participants in developing professional skills and capacities in pastry making and sewing, with the aim of finding employment or starting their own business.
The UNDP “Support to Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh and Host Communities” project is funded by the Government of France.
Participants in the Pastry Making training will learn:

Basics of pastry making

Hygiene and safety regulations
-
How to use professional tools and equipment, and how to decorate pastry products

How to develop a business plan by identifying target customers and required resources, and how to write a professional CV
Participants in the Sewing training will learn:

Basics of sewing
-
Measurement-taking skills and safety regulations
-
How to use professional tools and machines: from design and pattern making to fabric cutting and final finishing of garments (skirts, trousers, shirts, dresses)

How to develop a business plan by identifying target customers and required resources, and how to write a professional CV
Eligible participants: Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh currently residing in Armavir, Ararat, Kotayk regions and Yerevan.

Applicants must be 18 years or older

The 24 best-performing participants will receive professional tools to support the launch of a small business

Participants who successfully complete the training will receive certificates
The training will begin on July 28 at the French-Armenian Professional Training Center (CEPFA), 38 Tigran Mets Ave., Yerevan.
